A new offensive coordinator... A former MVP candidate that everyone has questions about... The Philadelphia Eagles are going to, again, be an intriguing team to watch, one that has stars at every position on the offensive depth chart.

That MVP candidate? Perhaps, you have heard of him. His name is Jalen Hurts. Those paychecks are going to be fatter during the coming NFL season, but for him to be successful, Philly needs to continue building the supporting cast that he has around him.

There are two ways that Philly's brass can get that done. There's the free-agency frenzy and the coming NFL Draft. Let's focus on the latter for a few seconds. We've been thinking about a handful of prospects that would give Kellen Moore a few more weapons and catapult the Birds to even greater heights on offense.

Admittedly, landing some of these guys is going to be a tougher task than landing some of the others.

The dream target?: Blake Corum, RB, Michigan

We're never going to put a ton of stock in any theory that ends with the Eagles investing early draft capital into a running back. It would have been interesting to see what type of discussions we would have heard had Jalen Carter been taken earlier in the 2023 NFL Draft and had Bijan Robinson been available when the Birds were on the clock to make their choice.

Something tells us that Philly still wouldn't have selected Bijan even though there was a large contingent that wanted them to do so. That being said, Michigan's Blake Corum in an Eagles jersey seems like an impossibility, but you have to admit. It would be fun to watch Philly's offense operate with him in the lineup.

We can dream though, right? We'll see what happens come draft time because this time last year we thought Carter's selection was impossible.
