Eagles fans, media voice their displeasure following yet another Quez Watkins snafu in a big moment
Though it may not seem like it should have been, one of the more talked about storylines this past offseason centered around what the Philadelphia Eagles should do about one of the players on their roster. Sure, those discussions about Jalen Hurts' big payday came up a time or two. New additions were mentioned, and even with all of that happening, we couldn't ignore one man,
For whatever reason, we just couldn't stop talking about Quez Watkins. No, that isn't a misprint. Yes, that's supposed to say 'Quez Watkins'.
If you've been living under a rock, here's what you missed. During the 2022-2023 NFL season, more often than they probably should have, the Eagles' passing attack looked to Quez in big moments. Normally, with the exception of a TD reception in Indianapolis versus the Colts, bad things usually happened.
Another Quez Watkins snafu leads to frustration among Eagles fans on social media.
By now, you've probably had an angry relative text you or you may have called someone yourself. Quez Watkins, 'Mr. Elite' has managed to tick off Birds fans again.
During a second-quarter third-down attempt, one from the Rams' 15-yard line, a screen was drawn up for 'Fast Batman'. This one should have probably resulted in a first down. Instead, Quez lost a yard. As you might imagine, some trusted Eagles voices disapproved.
