9 Eagles who must join Philadelphia's next batch of superstars

The Eagles don't want the young men on this list to work out. These guys have to work out. There's no other alternative.

The future of the Eagles' offensive line appears to be in great shape. We'll see what happens at the safety position.

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Cam Jurgens with the 51st overall selection during Round 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft. Sydney Brown was the 66th overall selection during Round 3 of the most recent selection meeting. Fingers are crossed that they become fixtures in a solid young core. Heaven knows they have the talent to get that done.

Cam Jurgens, offensive line

Cam Jurgens was drafted with expectations that he'd be the eventual successor to Jason Kelce's throne. While he may not be ready to wield the scepter, he's expected to compete for the starting right guard position, especially seeing as how Kele isn't ready to and the cleats up yet.

Everyone who loves Eagles football is behind him. He's going to be just fine. You just wait and see.

Sydney Brown, safety

We'd be willing to wager that, unless you're an alum or a fan, you probably didn't watch a ton of Illinois Fighting Illini football. Sydney Brown was worth the price of admission though, and now, he brings his talents to the City of Brotherly Love after earning First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2022.

The Birds don't often invest huge capital in the safety position, but watching the careers of Brian Dawkins. Malcolm Jenkins, and Rodney McLeod will spoil you. It would be nice to drive a wedge in the revolving door.
