9 Eagles who must join Philadelphia's next batch of superstars

The Eagles don't want the young men on this list to work out. These guys have to work out. There's no other alternative.

Reed Blankenship and Kenneth Gainwell are two of the young Eagles that we are paying attention to.

In 2022, Reed Blankenship and Kenneth Gainwell did what is asked of every role player or reserve. They made the most of their opportunities when they were presented. The question is this. What happens now when they step into expanded roles?

Reed Blankenship, safety

There's only one man walking the planet that can state his NFL career began as an undrafted rookie free agent and he intercepted a pass off of Aaron Rodgers' arm. That man is Reed Blankenship.

He has climbed the depth chart, potentially to a starter's chair. Can he continue the upswing? Every Eagles fan hopes the answer to that question is yes.

Kenneth Gainwell, running back

When the Eagles landed Kenneth Gainwell during Round 5 of the 2021 NFL Draft, there were whispers that they may have gotten a steal. The jury is still out on whether that is the case, but following the most recent NFL postseason, the resume looks a lot sexier now.

If the Eagles get the Kenneth Gainwell they got versus the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers and that guy is present all season, Philly's offense will soar to even greater heights than we are expecting during the coming regular season. We can't wait to see what Kenny G has in store.
