If only we had one of those hot tub time machines. Reference the 2010 film if you need help with building a frame of reference. Our point is this. It would be cool if we could reach back in time and add former Philadelphia Eagles to the current roster. Something tells us that DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy in their primes would be elite weapons in any era of Birds football.

McCoy hung his cleats up and called it a career as an Eagle. D-Jax has yet to turn in his retirement announcement. Both spent time in other locker rooms on other rosters, but make no mistake about it. Their hearts pump midnight green.

Eagles news: DeSean Jackson hangs out on Up & Adams and makes a bold claim.

Birds fans are always intrigued about what former Eagles are up to. Thanks to FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams, we got to hang out with the greatest deep threat in NFL history recently.

Jackson hinted that he can still ball out in his interview with host Kay Adams, His exact words... I definitely got a lot of juice in the tank..."

If you're looking for D'Jax's third stint in the City of Brotherly Love, don't hold your breath. That ship has sailed, but he's a shoo-in for the team's Hall of Fame. He may even have an argument for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.

Speaking of franchise legends and fringe Hall of Famers, have you been keeping up with the work LeSean McCoy is doing on FS1's Speak? Recently, he gave us reason to smile.

More Eagles news: LeSean McCoy ranks the Eagles ahead of the red-hot Dolphins.

If you're like most, recency bias can trick even the most level-headed sports fan. We all have had to fight the urge of falling victim to accepting what we most recently saw as truth.

LeSean 'Shady' McCoy doesn't seem to have that problem. While everyone continues to buzz over the Miami Dolphins' 70-point outburst in Week 3, our guy believes the Birds are the better team.

That was one of the conversations that headlined Tuesday's airing of Speak. Check out the full clip below.

Maybe this is Shady's attempt to teach us that we should never be ruled by emotion. Maybe these are the biased opinions of a fan favorite and franchise legend. Time will tell.

Maybe he's right. Maybe he isn't, but when the smoke clears and the dust settles, we expect Philly to prove that, while they may not be as fast as the Fins, they're most certainly the more talented team from top to bottom.
