Some things stop us in our tracks and will always do so. Wooder Ice in the summertime... Shrewd roster moves by Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman... Just about anything that Jason Kelce is doing. There's also this guy on the other side of the state of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. When he talks, it's hard to ignore him, nor do we want to.

Mike has been relatively quiet about anything related to trades or the juggling of the Black and Gold's quarterback room, but that changed over the weekend. As you might expect, for obvious reasons, that certainly grabbed our attention.

Mike Tomlin shares his theories on the dominoes that fell and led to Kenny Pickett trading his Steelers jersey for one given to him by the Eagles.

Kenny Pickett is an Eagle. It's the truth but still hard to believe in some ways. He's pumped. As most of you are aware, he grew up a Birds fan. The deal is done and no debates or theories will alter the results, but that doesn't mean we don't still ponder how he got here from time to time. Recently, Mike Tomlin articulated his explanation.

Steelers Insider Brook Pryor, a contributor on ESPN's highly popular morning show GET UP recently shared Tomlin's take from a recent chat with the media.

Other Steelers insiders have offered theories on why Pickett was moved since his exit, thoughts that suggest a sense of entitlement and a poor attitude. Pickett has since denied the accuracy of those theories. We'll see how things go during his second football act in the City of Brotherly Love.

Philly's starter is Jalen Hurts, and they already had Tanner McKee waiting in the wings. The latter will compete with newly acquired Will Grier for the right to be the Eagles' third quarterback. This should be a very interesting spring and summer.
