It has been a busy first week of free agency for the Philadelphia Eagles. They've made a plethora of moves with the most notable ones coming in the form of signing Saquon Barkley, extending Landon Dickerson, acquiring Devin White, and welcoming C.J. Gardner-Johnson back to Philadelphia after a year in Detroit.

If you like to look at the betting odds for an indication of how a team is faring, Eagles fans have to be feeling good about the latest movement in the odds to win the NFC East. Let's take a look.

Eagles NFC East Odds After Offseason Moves

Odds below are via DraftKings Sportsbook:

  • Eagles +130
  • Cowboys +130
  • Commanders +750
  • Giants +1000

Earlier this month, the Cowboys were the betting favorites at +100 and the Eagles were second on the odds list to win the NFC East at +135. After the first wave of free agent signings, the Eagles and Cowboys have drawn even at +135 each.

It's not just that the eagles have made plenty of smart moves to fix a handful of holes from last season, but it's that the Dallas Cowboys have done almost nothing. So far, they have re-signed their longsnapper Trent Sieg, signed a depth CB Jourdan Lewis, and signed a linebacker in Eric Kendricks.

There's no denying the Eagles have got better this week while the Cowboys, at best, of remained stagnant. That's enough for the Eagles' odds to win the division to improve.
