Kwon Alexander, linebacker

Well, you know we had to talk about a few linebackers. If you like your free-agent acquisitions to be 29 years of age or younger, Kwon Alexander might be your guy. At the time of this story's release, he remains unsigned.

He started 12 of the New York Jets' 17 games last season. Some believe that's where he'll return. He did, however, visit the Pittsburgh Steelers recently. He racked up 69 tackles last season.

Here's the situation. Nakobe Dean will get his shot with the Eagles this season. Christian Elliss is creating some shockwaves, but there's no guarantee that Alexander isn't better than both of them and everyone else Philly has on the roster.

Biggest concern

No one gets faster, stronger, and more athletic as they get older (except for Jason Kelce). It's obvious that Kwon's best years are behind him and the decline will come soon.

Myles Jack and Rashaan Evans, linebackers

It was hard to determine whether or not Myles Jack or Rashaan Evans should earn spots on this list. The decision was made to mention both of them.

The former was a Steelers cap casualty. The hole he left explains Pittsburgh's decision to take a look at Alexander. The latter led the Atlanta Falcons in tackles last season. Both players notched more than 100 tackles.

Biggest concerns

Jack has never been much of a blitzer or a sack artist. Evans is a liability in pass coverage. Any team willing to take a shot on either guy will land a player with talent, but who should be signed is a matter of scheme and preference.
