The Eagles have their hands full with an early road test versus the Buccaneers.

It feels like it has been forever since the Philadelphia Eagles have played a football game. By the time they do so again, two Sundays of action will have elapsed.

Philly's next test doubles as a road test versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They're home to a former first-overall selection (Baker Mayfield) and a former Eagles assistant, Todd Bowles. The latter is Tampa's head coach.

Both teams stand at 2-0 on the season. Both would love to see the winning streak continue. Trust us on this one. Philly will have their hands full.

They're often viewed as the face of the franchise for a reason. Five years after being taken first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, Baker Mayfield is playing for his fourth NFL team.

That's right. He's officially a journeyman. but he's the captain of the Bucs' ship.

The Bucs want this arrangement to work out. Baker has seen his share of controversy, but a win and a great showing in prime time will change some of the perception of him.

This is the first time we'll witness a Jalen Hurts versus Baker Mayfield quarterback duel. Let's hope Philly's signal-caller comes out on top.

Jot down the 2017 Heisman Trophy winner's name as someone the Birds should account for. Here are nine other Buccaneers to watch.
