You have no doubt heard the news. James Bradberry is injured and expected to miss six to eight weeks. The Philadelphia Eagles have announced subsequent roster moves as they elevated Oren Burks to the active roster after placing the 2022 Second-Team All-Pro on their injured reserve.

Brett Toth has been signed to the practice squad to fill the spot Burks' promotion opened. As expected, the conversation turns to one we often have during these situations.

Who's available if the Eagles look to sign someone from the outside? We're glad you asked. There are certainly some available options.

Here are four familiar faces the Eagles may have in the contacts list.

Whenever in a pinch for talent, the Eagles will often call guys they are already familiar with. It has been a while since we have seen these guys, but they're available, Might Philly be interested?

Rudy Ford

Rudy Ford is a speedster and special teams weapon. He played 351 ST snaps with the Birds during the 2019 and 2020 seasons and another 63 on defense.

In August of 2022, he was signed by the Green Bay Packers. He re-signed in March of 2023. He was placed on the injured reserve during the playoffs. He signed with the Carolina Panthers on August 14 and was released 13 days later.

Justin Evans

Justin Evans was a free-agent signing who joined the last offseason on March 20. He was named a starter to begin the season and logged 15 tackles. Nine were of the solo variety. He also broke up two passes and forced a fumble in four games of action.

Ugo Amadi

Stop being skeptical. We know he wasn't here long. On August 15, 2022, Amadi was traded to Philly for JJ Arcega-Whiteside. He was traded with a 2024 Eagles draft pick for a Titans 2024 sixth-round pick nine days later.

He has played primarily on special teams, but if all the Birds need is a practice squad body, signing someone they already know could certainly fit the bill.

Marquise Blair

Marquise Blair is a former second-round draft choice of the Seattle Seahawks (2019). He spent three seasons there and sandwiched a stint on the Eagles practice squad between some time in Carolina and a return to Seattle.

He is curently on the Hawks practice squad, so if Philly wants to add him, they'd need to place him on the active roster which probably isn't a realistic option.

There are other options, some of them youthful, if the Eagles want to explore other options.

An already young team could look to add more youth to the secondary's cupboard. Here are a few more e DBs who are worth noting.

Caleb Farley

The Eagles have tried there hands at adding former first-rounders, The Tennessee Titans recently parted with one.

Farley has dealt with injuries, both at the NFL and collegiate level, but if coached up, this guy could be decent. The luxury Philly has is they don't need him to step in and start.

Ryan 'Bump' Cooper

Bump Cooper has the skill set the Eagles hoped K'Von Wallace would perfect. Ryan can play outside corner, slot corner, and safety.

He appeared in 23 games with the Oregon State Beavers over the past two NCAA seasons. He tallied 82 tackles, 1.5 sacks, four interceptions, and 18 pass breakups.

Phalen Sanford

Phalen Sanford was a UDFA signing made by the Las Vegas Raiders following the NFL Draft. Most known among NFL circles for recovering that fourth-quarter fumble vs the San Francisco 49ers. he plays with a lot of heart.

Don't kill us for saying this, but he reminds us of Reed Blankenship.
