Grading every Eagles 2023 draftee as Philadelphia enters their bye week

The Eagles are idle in Week 10. Since we have some time, let's take a look at their 2023 draft class and hand out some grades. Yes, that ought to be fun.

The Eagles add three intriguing players in the middle rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Once NFL teams reach the third round and beyond, they're looking for players that they hope pan out. They may have accomplished their goals on that front.

3. Tyler Steen, offensive lineman - Round 3, 65th overall

Tyler Steen hasn't played much this season. As a matter of fact, he's only been on the field for 68 snaps. Week 9 offered us his first start of the season, and we aren't concerned about his potential at all.

Final grade: A-

4. Sydney Brown, safety - 3rd round, 66th overall

There are so many things to love about Sydney Brown. He's in love with this game called football. He's dedicated to his craft. He can lay the smackdown like Malcolm Jenkins. He just can't cover like Malcolm Jenkins. Then again, who can?

Don't worry about Sydney. He just needs some time and reps, but once the light comes on, it's going to shine brightly. Patience will be key here.
Final grade: B+

5. Kelee Ringo, cornerback - 4th round, 105th overall

Kelee Ringo has been good on special teams, but thanks to Philly's luxury of fielding both James Bradberry and Darius Slay, there hasn't been a need to ask him to do much defensively.

He's a work in progress. The preseason highlighted that. We'll put a pin in this discussion for now.
Final grade: B-
