Matchups and predictions for every Eagles NFC East rival in Week 6 of the 2023 NFL season

  • The Eagles remain undefeated.
  • The Commanders are ruthlessly inconsistent.
  • The Giants are just a group of guys and not a football team.
  • The Cowboys did that thing where they lose in a pathetic fashion.

The Atlanta Falcons versus the Washington Commanders

Can we all take a second to appreciate the nonsense of this game? We have the Commanders who are just about as inconsistent as you can get. They were stomped out by the Chicago Bears in Week 5, they went to overtime with the Eagles in Week 4, and they were beaten to a pulp by the Buffalo Bills. None of what they do makes any sense.

Then, in the red corner, you have the Atlanta Falcons who are loaded with young skill players but are seemingly determined to field the least fun offense of the past 20 years. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

They moved the ball decently against the Houston Texans in Week 5, but they were turned into cartoon characters in Week 4 and somehow made the game boring. They also had the breaks beaten off of them by the Detroit Lions in Week 3.

Keep on keeping on, I guess? Whatever, Atlanta.
