Turnovers continue to cost the Eagles. Philly added two more versus the Giants.

Turnovers continue to plague the 2023 Eagles. After halftime, they owned a commanding 20-3 lead and should have coasted to an easy win. Unfortunately, during the opening kickoff of the second half, Boston Scott wasn't able to hang on to the football.

Isaiah Simmons' fumble recovery gave the Giants the ball in the red zone, with just 14 yards needed to get in the end zone. They did so and narrowed the scoring margin to 20-10.

Before the end of the third quarter, turnover issues reared their ugly head again. Jalen Hurts threw an interception to Adoree Jackson that was returned for a touchdown. He missed on a toss aimed at tight end Dallas Goedert. The Giants were successful on the corresponding two-point conversion which narrowed the score to 20-18 at the time.

Before this, the Giants hadn't gotten much going on offense, so the turnovers gave them life. Philly's two giveaways led to 15 Giants points. The second half could have been easier on the good guys had they been more careful with the football.
