If you're still bummed despite the Eagles' 3-0 record, maybe this will cheer you up. Things may not be as bad as you're thinking.

Maybe that Eagles offense is doing a better job than we are giving them credit for.

This doesn't feel like the same buzz we had when the Philadelphia Eagles began last season with a 3-0 record. Maybe it's that red zone inefficiency. Maybe it's the lack of consistent traction on offense. That last win felt a little better, but even after that, something seemed off.

Despite the ever-present negativity, the Eagles are 3-0, and in the end that is all that matters. Have you looked around the NFL? There's been a lot of up-and-down play. Friends, that happens a lot in pro football.

The Eagles are going to blow some teams out. Sometimes, the games will cause stress. It's a one-week-at-a-time league and always will be, but if you still need some convincing, maybe this well cheer you up.

We ranked teams by their average scoring margin. This was pretty interesting.

The cellar

Well, if no one else is going to say it, we will. Russell Wilson's addition to the Denver Broncos hasn't amounted to much. We're so glad he didn't wind up in Philly.

32. Chicago Bears (-19.7)
31. New York Giants (-18.3)
30. Denver Broncos (-17.7)
29. Las Vegas Raiders (-10.7)

The Chicago Bears probably wish they had taken Jalen Carter now. Oh well... That's their problem. not ours. Here's how the rest of the list falls.
