Offensive prospects the Eagles can draft to make Jalen Hurts' life even easier

The Eagles are stocked on the offensive side of the ball, but a few more additions shouldn't lead to any complaints.

Have you ever told a joke and it worked out so well that you thought you'd recycle it for a new audience? Heck, if we're being honest, we all have. That's so much easier than coming up with new material, right? Here's your Philadelphia Eagles comp. The last time we told you Jalen Hurts had no excuses, he damn near won the MVP trophy while leading the Birds to within four points of a second Vince Lombardi Trophy. So, why wouldn't we run a theory back?

Jalen Hurts' supporting cast in 2024 includes A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, DeVante Parker, Saquon Barkley, and the best O-line in football. Yeah... Jalen doesn't have any excuses, but since we're all full-blown pedal to the metal here, why not mention a few 2024 NFL Draft prospects that would help this Eagles team reach supernova?

Ja'Tavion Sanders, tight end, Texas

As we move toward the coming NFL Draft, you may hear requests made for a backup tight end often. Dallas Goedert is awesome, underutilized but awesome. He has also missed eight of the last 34 regular-season games because of issues with one injury or another.

While we realize the Birds offered an extension to Albert Okwuegbunam, we'll admit we aren't huge fans. Philly has a history of finding good tight ends in the NFL Draft. It may be time to do so again in the NFL Draft because if something happens to Mr. Goedert, the talent on the depth chart plummets quickly.

Ja'Tavion Sanders satisfies the need. He racked up 45 receptions for 682 yards and two touchdowns in 2023.
