Wide Receiver

The top two guys, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, are among the best in the business. The new guy, DeVante Parker... Well, we'll see. Honestly, we wouldn't have been opposed to retaining Olamide Zaccheaus and giving him more targets.

Past that, Philly's depth chart is blah... We have actually tossed around ideas about how wise it is to give Britain Covey more targets in Kellen Moore's offense. We're not saying that's a horrible idea, but come on.

There are a lot of bodies on the current roster, but no real answers. Are you excited about Joseph Ngata, Shaquan Davis, Jacob Harris, Griffin Herbert, and Austin Watkins Jr.? Maybe we should be, but right now, we can't say we are. If someone steps up, however, Philly might be in business.

Tight End

The Eagles figure to carry three tight ends on their 2024 53-man roster. They have four tight ends on their current offseason roster though last year's TE2, Jack Stoll, has bolted to join the rival New York Giants.

We love Dallas Goedert and are praying that this is finally his breakout season. Sharing snaps with Zach Ertz earlier in his career and recent injuries that have come in recent seasons have prevented him from eclipsing the 1,000-yard plateau. Here's the thing though.

We aren't as confident in Albert Okwuegbunam, Noah Togiai, or Grant Calcaterra should anything happen to Goedert. This unit looks a lot worse if he goes down. None of those guys have distanced themselves from the others, but that could change with Kellen Moore in town.
