Ranking early potential Nick Sirianni replacements if Eagles move on after NFL Playoffs

Should Nick Sirianni remain as the Eagles' head coach? Some say yes, but let's discuss a few options if he doesn't.

So, here's the skinny. We have been siting here thinking about the coming Wild Card Round game. The Philadelphia Eagles feel like a team in shambles. Nick Sirianni always asks that the blame be placed on him, and doggone it, if the Birds fly south for the winter and lay an egg versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers AFTER doing the same for the final month of the regular season, we can certainly make Nick a promise.

If it's blame Nick wants, it's blame he'll most certainly get.

Philly, after beginning their regular-season campaign with a 10-1 record, has become the first team in NFL history to do so and FAIL TO WIN 12 GAMES. Their offense is archaic. The team's body language is terrible. They have regressed at every position (except for swapping Arryn Siposs out for Braden Mann).

If you think Nick Sirianni isn't on the hot seat think again. It's one thing to collapse like no Eagles team ever has. It's another to do so knowing the locker room has grown weary of the head coach's voice.

Worth asking: Are Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman willing to hire an inexperienced head coach or give anyone they hire any REAL control?

Here's where we all are. No one knows if the Eagles are even entertaining the idea of moving on from Nick Sirianni, but here's what we do know, while most of us would love to have an experienced head coach, we all know that Jeffrey Lurie and Howie Roseman LOVE finding that untapped guy. They kind of like the feeling of believing they're smarter than everyone else.

Then again, they may just be interested in someone they can control because they're terrified of the possibility of reliving the Chip Kelly reign again and Howie has decided there's no way in you know what that he's being confined to the equipment room again.

Here's a better question. Would they even entertain the idea of hiring a defensive coordinator? That's something to consider. We all know this team is obsessed with winning in the air and looking pretty while they're doing it.

What the heck... We've put together a list of ten names. It includes both popular and realistic options. Let's see if your list looks like ours.
