Ranking early potential Nick Sirianni replacements if Eagles move on after NFL Playoffs

Should Nick Sirianni remain as the Eagles' head coach? Some say yes, but let's discuss a few options if he doesn't.

4. Pete Carroll - 181-131-1 in 18 NFL seasons (includes playoffs)

Yeah... We know... We know. Pete Carroll is old, and the NFL likes those new guys. We know! He's supposed to be given some sort of front-office job with the Seattle Seahawks. How do we know he's finished with coaching though? Weren't we all convinced last week that he'd be back? Aren't we certain that he would have been back had he been given that option?

Say what you will about Pete. He's a little quirky. We admit that. He's also undefeated versus our Eagles, and his track record speaks for itself. We'd be down for a little 'if you can't beat him, join him' coaching construction.

3. Nick Saban - former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach

Despite being one of the greatest college football coaches to ever walk the planet, Nick Saban's tenure in the NFL was an abject failure. Hey, there's no harm in that. We all acknowledge that the NFL is a far different game than the one being played at the NCAA level.

Here's why Nick is on our list. We trust him more than most of these 'hot commodities' that are shoved down our throats year in and year out. Who would you rather lead the 2024 Eagles? Guys like Jonathan Gannon and Dave Canales? Nope! Give us Nick Saban any day of the week.
