15 more games have evaporated from the 2023 NFL regular-season schedule, and with that, we put a bow on Week 14's action. The Philadelphia Eagles have fallen. A loss versus the San Francisco 49ers stung. Losing to the Dallas Cowboys wasn't any fun either. There are a ton of questions to be answered.

Perhaps the biggest question surrounds Philly's readiness for the postseason. This was supposed to be a season where we watched the Birds rectify last February's Super Bowl loss. Truth has slapped us across our faces though.

If Philly doesn't correct what we saw these past two weeks, their postseason party will be an abbreviated one.

NFC playoff picture, Week 15: Eagles still have a shot at the NFC's top seed.

The division leaders:

San Francisco 49ers - 10-3, 1st in the NFC West
Dallas Cowboys - 10-3, 1st in the NFC East
Detroit Lions - 9-4, 1st in the NFC North
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 6-7, 1st in the NFC South

The Wild Card Teams:

Philadelphia Eagles - 10-3, 2nd in the NFC East
Minnesota Vikings - 7-6, 2nd in NFC North
Green Bay Packers - 6-7, 3rd in NFC North

Teams in the hunt:

Los Angeles Rams - 6-7, 2nd in NFC West
Seattle Seahawks - 6-7, 3rd in NFC West
Atlanta Falcons - 6-7, 2nd in NFC South
New Orleans Saints - 6-7, 3rd in NFC South

Four games remain. The Eagles are currently staring up at the Cowboys in the standings, but they'd take the NFC East by winning out.

They need a 49ers loss to occur somewhere during that same stretch. If that happens, Philly would return to the top of the conference standings and earn home-field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs. They'd also guarantee themselves a first-round bye. You won't hear us complain if that were to happen.
