One day, we'll all be old men and women, and hopefully, we'll be sitting on our porches and telling our grandchildren about Jalen Hurts' rise from surprise (and some would say disappointing) Philadelphia Eagles draft choice to Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. Hip-hop legend Dr. Dre might provide a few intriguing stories if the conversation transitions into music, especially if you're giving the 'grands' a detailed view of, shall we say, freedom of expression.
If you haven't noticed, Dre has done a phenomenal job of reinventing himself. Some of you younger cats missed when he was blazing a profanity-laden trail through the pop music landscape and receiving threatening letters from the FBI because of some of his word usage.
We didn't see this one coming, but Dre and Jalen's paths have crossed. They have introduced a new collaborative effort, one that we found to be interesting.

It should be no surprise to anyone that Jalen Hurts' star is burning brightly. He led TWO blue-blood college football programs, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners, to College Football Playoff appearances.
He was a runner-up as both a Heisman finalist and NFL Most Valuable Player. The ladies want to date him. The guys want to be him. Everything about him says 'cool'.

They say game recognizes game. Dre, a Hall of Famer himself, couldn't have found a better representative. Jalen Hurts is a winner, one that balances style, maturity, grace, and charisma perfectly. All that's left now is for Dre to ship us a pair of headphones.
