We expect our first Week 8 injury report to be released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, but the coaches and leadership staff are already working. While they haven't officially announced a roster move, FOX Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz has a Tuesday afternoon roster update.

Philly is releasing Parris Campbell. As Schultz states, he snagged six catches for 30 yards the season. He also scored a TD in a losing effort vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Something tells us something is stirring. One of Philly's rookies must be close to returning.

Ainias Smith could be added to the Eagles active roster soon.

The Eagles added Ainias Smith with the 152nd overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. He was a fifth-round selection out of Texas A&M. They were enamored with his ability to create in space and his experience as a returner.

Smith was a First-Team All-SEC nod in 2023 but was placed on injured reserve on August 27th. Philly opened 21-day practice windows for Ainias and Sydney Brown on October 7th. Then came the most recent game. Sydney was activated from the IR to the 53-man roster on October 19. Smith could see his activation sometime soon as well.
