This is a vital message to Kyle Brandt: the angry run of the week should be going to Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.

With a 14-10 lead in the fourth quarter, Jalen Hurts handed the ball off to Barkley, and that's where magic happened as he made some moves and ran through multiple Commanders defenders for the 12-yard touchdown run to put them up by two possessions. The Eagles went on to win 29-18 over the Commanders with Barkley leading the way in rushing with 132 yards and a score.

After the game, reporters asked Barkley about the touchdown run and explained his thinking through it. For Barkley, it was all about using every muscle in his body to get it done.

"O-line did a great job," Barkley said via SportsRadio 94 WIP. "I tried to make a move, they didn't fall for it, and lowered my shoulder, kind of just ran angry, and finished."

Barkley was a man possessed to get that score and help the Eagles win

It's been a string of excellent games for Barkley, as the 132 yards are the second most he has had this season. He's now picked up two 100-yard games in the last three contests and finally got over 1,000 yards on the season with his excellent performance against the Commanders.

While it would be too much to say that the 2024 Barkley is back, this version of Barkley is getting much better. He seems to be finding the holes and hitting it quicker than he was at the beginning of the season.

A lot of that could be the play of the offensive line improving the way they needed to, but Barkley has looked more confident as a runner of late. He's letting his linemen and receivers make the blocks they need to and follow behind them.

Eagles fans can feel better that Barkley is back on track and ready for the postseason. Can he consistently keep the momentum going?
