There weren't a lot of happy moments from the 2025 season for the Philadelphia Eagles, but early in the season, there was one that was as memorable as the game as there ever will be, thanks to one play.

Back in Week 3 of last season, the Eagles had to storm back from being down 19 points to beat the Los Angeles Rams 33-26, but it was Jordan Davis's field goal block on the last play of the game that was returned for the touchdown that sealed it. The crazy part was that it was the Eagles' second field goal block of the quarter, and it was the one that helped them move to 3-0 on the season.

Rams head coach Sean McVay appeared on the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast, where he shared his instant reaction to Davis getting the game-winning field goal block.

“Man, I must have taken a Quaalude, because this can’t be real life," McVay said.

Sean McVay was not alone in that feeling as Eagles fans felt the same

That whole game was surreal, as the Rams led 26-7 while the Eagles struggled offensively after Lane Johnson was knocked out of the game and Matt Pryor struggled to replace him at right tackle. It was Fred Johnson who came in to save the day on the offensive line.

Davis had his coming-out party with some great moments in the game, and the defensive line in general played well in the second half, with Jalen Carter getting the first field goal block in the fourth quarter. It was Davis who would end up winning the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his block that helped win the game.
