Philadelphia Eagles fans are not big fans of sports personality Skip Bayless because of his years of biased opinions about his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
In recent times, Bayless has been less on the Cowboys bandwagon and has been giving the Eagles praise every step of the way, which is unusual behavior for him. While appearing on The Arena Gridiron, Bayless gave his thoughts on who he thinks has the best chance of winning the NFC East in 2026.
"I'm don't see what you're seeing with Dallas. I'm giving Philly the highest chance to win the NFC East. Howie's (Roseman) the best GM, and once again, he won the offseason."
Skip Bayless is buying stock that the Eagles will win the NFC East again
It's hard to argue against what Bayless said because Roseman has proven time and time again that he's the best general manager in the NFL. Every move he has made has been calculated and smart, as he thinks three steps ahead of everyone.
While every NFC East team improved during the offseason and the division will be much tougher to play in this upcoming season, it still feels like the Eagles have the most talent. It also helps that the Eagles have been to the Super Bowl twice in the last four years, giving them a massive advantage.
The draft was good for all four NFC East teams, as they all had stellar first rounds: the Giants and Cowboys had two selections; the Commanders landed an edge rusher who dropped; and Dallas helped the Eagles move up to land wide receiver Makai Lemon in the first round. It was about as good a first round as any division had in the NFL this year.

Philly is the back-to-back NFC East champions, so all the pressure is on them, but the confidence of the media is behind them, too. As much as Eagles fans hate to agree with Bayless, this is one take that isn't crazy: the Eagles should be the favorites to win the division.
