The Philadelphia Eagles are on quite a run of players in the top 100, and it continued with a new addition.
Eagles linebacker Zack Baun was ranked 45th among the NFL's top 100 players, voted on by the players. Baun joins Jalen Hurts and Quinyon Mitchell as the only Eagles players who have made it on there so far. In last year's list, Baun was ranked 26th.
Last season, Baun racked up 123 tackles, seven pass deflections, seven tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 16 games. He was selected to his second straight Pro Bowl.
Zack Baun joins two Eagles in top 100 list so far
It's tough to see Baun drop nearly 20 spots from where he was in 2025, but his numbers did show a slight regression. That shouldn't be interpreted as a bad year because he still had a fantastic season for the Eagles.
Baun proved that he can still do it all at the inside linebacker position. He has been called on to blitz the quarterback and drop back into coverage. At the same time, he's still a great run-stopping linebacker.
The Eagles' defense would not be able to function without Baun. He is a true leader within that unit and knows how to get everyone into the right positions.
Baun will be leaned on more this season without Nakobe Dean still in Philly. 2025 first-round pick Jihaad Campbell takes over as the starting linebacker for the Eagles alongside Baun.

Philly is ready to have Baun be unleashed once again in 2026, as he continues to show everyone how he is one of the best in the NFL at doing it.
