Dave:
New England actually lucks out here, with a wide selection of talent available. They could address receiver, possibly a defensive end like Stephon Tuitt, but more than likely they grab Texas Tech’s Jace Amaro to shore up a tight end position that’s been in flux due to injuries from Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez’s incarceration. Amaro’s an athlete who can be relied on to be in the lineup, unlike the stud-when-healthy-but-never-is Gronkowski.

Giorgos:
Jace Amaro is an intriguing tight end prospect. He is a great receiver and provides the quarterback with a big target (he is 6′ 5″ and 260 pounds). His strength allows him to keep receivers away and stay on his feet even after contact. He has room to add more muscle, if he loses some of his body fat. Amaro does everything well, except run blocking. The New England Patriots need someone who can help them re-establish their two-tight-end scheme and/or take Rob Gronkowski’s place if his injury woes continue.
