12. New York Giants
Mike Evans
Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

Previously: Taylor Lewan (Offensive Tackle, Michigan)

Giorgos:

Mike Evans slides a little bit, but the New York Giants are there to pick him up with the 12th overall pick. The G-Men lack a true number-one wide receiver outside and Evans was a true playmaker for Texas A&M. He is 6’5” tall and his long arms allow him to catch balls high in the air or away from his body. Evans is also fast enough to create separation and at 21, he has room for further improvement.

Dave:

After an impressive offseason which focused on fixing a battered and aged offensive line as well as replenishing defensive talent across the board, the Giants are free to select the best player available. It’s plausible to see a team trade up to grab Evans before this pick is possible in May, but Giants fans would be thrilled to have a physical, elite talent at receiver to complement Victor Cruz and Reuben Randle.
