13. St. Louis Rams
Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix
Safety, Alabama

Previously: Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix (Safety, Alabama)

Giorgos:

This one is a no-brainer for the St. Louis Rams. After signing Kenny Britt and drafting Greg Robinson, they are pretty much set on offense. Safety is their biggest need now and the best safety of this draft happens to be on the board. HaSean Clinton-Dix can play both as the free safety and the strong safety positions. He has excellent range that allows him to patrol the backfield and he is also agood tackler that can come in the box.

Dave:

With Mike Evans going off the board to the Giants, the Rams’ decision at thirteen became a much easier one.  Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix is the most talented safety in 2014, and is best suited as a center-fielder ballhawk, which is exactly the type of safety the Rams could benefit having across from TJ McDonald. At this point, unless St. Louis wants to add another wide receiver, this pick is a no-brainer.
