Giorgos:
The Arizona Cardinals have the chance to draft an offensive tackle, but they choose to draft Calvin Pryor, in an effort to build the most fearsome defense. Pryor is a nasty safety with great angles of pursuit. Although his range is not like Clinton-Dix’s, he is tremendous in run support and with the right coaching he can be the next big hitter the NFL will be talking about.
Dave:
Once a Cardinal, always a Cardinal. Arizona already features an impressive secondary led by cornerback Patrick Peterson and safety Tyrann Mathieu, but could benefit from a hard hitter to go up against the 49ers and Seahawks’ offenses. Pryor isn’t outstanding in coverage situations, but the Cardinals can minimize his deficiencies by allowing him to play in the box and letting Mathieu and Peterson handle that aspect.
