Taylor Hart DE Oregon 141st overall

Another Oregon Duck drafted, this time it’s defensive end Taylor Hart. Chip Kelly once again selects one of his former players. Hart is your prototypical 3-4 defensive end. Hart has the size at 6’6, 281lbs to contribute right away as a rotational player. Chip Kelly wanted to select Hart with the 3rd round selection, but Eagles GM Howie Roseman assured Chip that Hart would still be on the board. The team rolled the dice and won. Great value with Hart in the 5th round. He knows the basics of the system and is already ahead as far as a learning curve goes. Chip loves bringing in his former players.
