Quick Six Observations

1) For the second straight week Foles looked largely indecisive and often off target. He seems afraid to put the ball down field, almost as if he doesn’t trust what he’s seeing, and looks very uncomfortable in the pocket.

2) How fantastic of an addition is Darren Sproles? Seven catches, 152 yards, one touchdown. Amazing.

3) Speaking of opportunities, the Eagles nearly came up with a turnover on the Colts’ first touchdown drive when Richardson fumbled inside the five. Veteran receiver Reggie Wayne somehow was the only person to see the ball and came up with the recovery.

4) If the Eagles can’t stop the Indianapolis Colts’ running game, who can they stop?

5) Losing linebacker Mychal Kendricks (calf injury, late third quarter) was huge, especially considering his backup is Casey Matthews. If this is a long-term injury the Philadelphia defense – already with plenty of holes – has another huge one.

6) I guess we can’t count this team out. Two weeks in a row they looked completely lost. Two weeks in a row they found a way to win. I might have a heart attack before the season ends, but if I survive, this might be fun.
