Standing just 5-8 and weighing in at 215 lbs., Mississippi State running back Josh Robinson isn’t going to blow anyone away with his size. But at the combine, he should be able to show off his impressive strength and quick burst as well.

Robinson is similar to current Eagles running back Darren Sproles in that he’s an undersized but tough runner and solid pass catcher as well. The former Bulldog also has an amazing story off the field, which was covered during this segment on ESPN’s College Gameday.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly values high character and a good attitude, Robinson certainly possesses both. He may not blow up the combine with his numbers but he’s a versatile running back that runs with a ton of power. The birds could use him to potentially replace restricted free agent running back Chris Polk or add him to the rotation in the backfield as well.
