Week 16: Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles (Saturday Night Football on NFL Network)

In the second to last week of the 2015 regular season, the Eagles will have a prime-time game against the Washington Redskins. This game could have huge playoff implications on the NFC East divisional race and the Wild Card spot as well. Of course, the headline will be wide receiver DeSean Jackson against his former team again but with the additions the Eagles have made to their secondary this offseason, hopefully they’ll be able to do a better job against him then they did this past season.

Both games between the Eagles and Redskins in 2014 were very close match-ups. each being decided by just three points. Washington has the fifth overall pick in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft so the player they get with that pick could have a huge impact in this game, whether it be a top edge rusher like Vic Beasley or Shane Ray or even a quarterback like Marcus Mariota. If the Redskins did get Mariota somehow, that would make for one hell of a story-line. Either way, this late season match-up should be a good one and potentially very important for both teams.
