Alani Fua, Outside Linebacker, BYU

The Eagles swung and missed in the first round last year when they drafted outside linebacker Marcus Smith. He was a huge disappointment and they need to add another pass rusher in this year’s draft. Fua is an intriguing option with his experience rushing the passer and in coverage. At 6’5, 238 lbs., Fua has a slight build but he was used in a multitude of ways at BYU, including even covering slot receivers. That’s something that should stand out to the Eagles and draw their interests on day three of the draft.
