Fletcher Cox, Defensive End

The reigning NFC Defensive player of the week just had to make this list. Defensive end Fletcher Cox has turned into the best player on the Philadelphia Eagles team. The former 12th overall pick in the 2012 draft has dominated opponents with his devastating motor and freakish athletic ability. Not only has Cox become the best player on the Eagles roster, but has become one of the best defensive players in the entire NFL. Cox had 6 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery just last week alone.

Fletcher Cox got snubbed from the pro bowl last season, but this year you can practically write his name in stone to be there this year. Cox has 4 sacks on the season and looks unblockable at times. There is no doubt that Cox is the Philadelphia Eagles MVP so far. Fletcher makes the entire defense look good, whether it’s actually getting sacks, pushing the pocket consistently, shouting down the run, or eating up double teams and blocks, Fletcher makes this defense go. It’s almost an insult to leave Cox one on one with an o-lineman with no help. Fletcher Cox has now entered the realm of elite players in the NFL.
