2016 NFL Draft: Inside The Iggles’ Full First-Round Mock
By Ryan Quigley
17. Atlanta Falcons: A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
The Falcons could use some help on the defensive line and A’Shawn Robinson wouldn’t be a bad selection at 17 if that’s the direction they end up taking.
Robinson is a mammoth of a man and clogs the middle of the field without even meaning to. He is one of the scariest looking prospects in this year’s draft and teams in need of interior linemen love it. He’s not the kind of player that is going to light up the stat sheet, but more of an under-the-radar players that can close up running lanes and bottle up running backs for negative yardage.
Atlanta’s front seven isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. Robinson could give the Falcons’ defensive line some much-needed depth moving forward.
