More from Inside the Iggles

The Titans are set at quarterback with Marcus Mariota at the helm, but he took a beating as a rookie, which effected his overall performance. Tennessee needs help on the offensive line and Laremy Tunsil can provide that.

Tunsil is the best offensive lineman in this year’s draft and would immediately anchor the Titans’ offensive line – if he can stay on the field, that is.

Whether it was because of an injury or an off-field incident, Tunsil missed a good portion of his career at Ole Miss. For Tunsil to be worth the first overall pick, he needs to remain on the field and protect Mariota. His injury history is a cause for concern and if the Titans think it can be a lingering issue, they may choose to go in a different direction or even trade back.

Nonetheless, Tunsil is arguably the best player in this year’s draft and, if he can stay healthy, the Titans will have themselves a franchise tackle.
