Fifth Round (No. 164 Overall): Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford

That’s right, another quarterback.

Selecting two quarterbacks would be a wise move for the Eagles, especially if Sam Bradford is traded. Wentz may have the tools to be the Eagles’ long-term answer, but if he fails to meet expectations, the Eagles will have made one of the worst trades in NFL history.

The Eagles should do something similar to what the Washington Redskins did when they traded up to the No. 2 spot in 2012. Despite the hype surrounding RG3, the Redskins went on to draft Kirk Cousins as insurance.

The Redskins made a big investment in 2012, but they covered it responsibly. The Eagles would be foolish not to follow suit.
