4. Attention to detail

Doug Pederson hasn’t even coached a game yet, but he is already proving to be an improvement over Chip Kelly.

As opposed to making practices a track meet to maximize reps (Kelly’s method), Pederson’s practices are more relaxed and he focuses mainly on pointing out the small details of the game that make huge impacts on gamedays.

This is an approach used by some of the game’s greatest coaches such as Tony Dungy, Dick Vermeil and Bill Walsh.

And guess what. They all won Super Bowls!

Doug Pederson is the player’s coach the Eagles needed and his new coaching style will pay dividends in 2016 and beyond.
