5. The Eagles Will Finish With A Top 10 Defense

Much has been spoken about new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz in the off-season. Moving back to a 4-3 defense works perfectly for the Eagles especially for the defensive line. Fletcher Cox, Vinny Curry, Bennie Logan and Brandon Graham in Schwartz’s “Wide 9” scheme will wreak havoc for opposing offensive lines.

Gaining the services of Safety Rodney McLeod in free agency also solidifies the back end of the Eagles secondary and forms arguably the best Safety pairing in the game alongside Malcolm Jenkins. The middle of the field showcases, hopefully, a healthy Jordan Hicks and Mychal Kendricks paired with Nigel Bradham, who under Schwartz had a 100+ tackle season with the Buffalo Bills at SAM linebacker.

One statistic to note is the Bills, in 2014 on the defensive side of the ball, finished the 4th ranked defense under Schwartz.
