3. Zach Ertz & Jordan Matthews Will Be Pro Bowlers

Jordan Matthews numbers suggest that, in his short tenor in the league, he is improving with each year. Despite having issues with drops last season, Matthews still managed a near 1,000 yard season and another 8 touchdowns. Another year of developing himself into the number one receiver, another year with quarterback Sam Bradford and what seems to be an offense more suited for his strengths will help Matthews in both outside and inside receiver roles. Look for an increase in production for year three.

Jeremy Maclin took a while to burst onto the scene for the Eagles, mainly because of injury, but a new offense and head coach was the difference for him. Jordan Matthews can be seen in a similar light. Over 1,100 yards shouldn’t be out of the question, and if he can pull down 10 touchdowns, Matthews maiden pro bowl berth could be just around the corner.

Zach Ertz is another one of the offensive pieces the Eagles are looking to have a monster year. With more playing time, it’s hard to see how Ertz doesn’t have his best year to date. The Eagles are reportedly going to feature up to three tight ends on the field at times this season, and Ertz will lead that unit. Bradford and Ertz formed a good connection towards the end of last season and with the tight end spot growing in importance around the league, Ertz could find himself having a coming out party in 2016.
