Are there any free agent RB’s still on the market for the Eagles?

LeGarrette Blount

LeGarrette Blount had a big season with the New England Patriots in 2016. He finished with 1,161 yards on 299 carries. He lead the NFL with 18 rushing touchdowns and was ranked eighth in total rushing yards.

Blount is a hard runner and defenses need more then one player to take him down. He managed to stay healthy all throughout the entire regular season all the way to winning a Lombardi trophy in Houston. The biggest concern, though, is the fact that he played for Bill Belichick’s Patriots. Belichick’s system is no joke. He routinely turns nobodies into superstars as long as they are playing for him. In previous seasons Blount has had issues in different organizations. The most recent example was when he walked off the field in frustration while playing for the Steelers, which lead him to being cut.
