Over the past few seasons, Adrian Peterson has been through quite a lot. After taking the 2014 season off due for problems outside of football, he came back and rushed for 1,485 yards in the following season showing that he can still get it done. Unfortunately, Peterson could not duplicate that success in 2016 when he tore his meniscus in Week 2. He ended up playing only three games and rushed for 72 yards and no touchdowns.
Peterson turned 32 this March and is still on the hunt trying to find his next team. He stirred up some rumors at the start of the offseason, showing interest in the New York Giants commenting on their most recent moves. The Giants told the media they will not pursue Peterson and since then he has worked out with the Patriots, Seahawks and the Saints.
It appears Peterson could be on his way to New Orleans, but nothing is set and stone for the 32-year-old back.
