Speaking of versatile linebackers from the Big Ten Conference, you might want to check Josey Jewell when you get a chance. Once the 2017 college football season ends, it will be time for him to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. That will, most certainly, make every Hawkeyes fan upset as they’ll need to replace his production and leadership.
In 2016, Jewell treated Hawkeyes fans to a season-long defensive showcase. When the curtain was drawn on the masterpiece he created, he had 124 tackles (six for a loss), nine passes broken up and one forced fumble. Add that to the 126 tackles (7.5 for a loss), 2.5 sacks, six passes broken up, four interceptions and forced fumble he had in 2015, and you have a resume that will make NFL coaches salivate and fellow collegiate athletes jealous.
The Eagles would be foolish not to take a closer look.
