Verdict: Guice is a late first-round to early second-round pick and one of the top thirty players overall.

Guice is still somewhat of a mystery because Leonard Fournette created a huge shadow. Still, Guice should be able to, at least, reproduce his 2016 output (1,493 total yards from scrimmage and 16 total touchdowns). The best-case scenario is he finds a way to be more productive offensively, and he adds to his receiving total.

Some thought Saquon Barkley was head and shoulders above the rest of the running backs in the NCAA. This may not be the case any longer, as Guice put together solid tape in 2016. Guice is in a position to leave a legacy of his own behind in Baton Rouge, and he could step out of Fournette’s shadow for once and for all.
