ITI: With all the wild outtakes and immature statements, is Newton really the guy you want to lead your franchise? How do Panthers fans react to his actions?

Cat Crave:

As stated, Newton has many critics and supporters – even within the Carolina Panthers fan base. It’s disheartening to see people pose as Panthers fans but ridicule the quarterback. Still, his performance and results on the field are unmatched by any previous Panthers signal caller.

Newton’s current seven year run in the Carolina’s has been the most successful in franchise history. He was NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, the NFL MVP and was named to the Pro Bowl in half of his seasons. Three consecutive divisional championships were won under his watch. Carolina even advanced to their second Super Bowl appearance.

He is a leader and most everyone inside the locker room has nothing but positive things to say about their quarterback. Even in his latest incident and apology, critics were numerous but his supporters (both male and female) were there as well.
