ITI: How good are the Panthers? What’s a realistic expectation for the season? Will this team dethrone Atlanta?

Cat Crave:

Prior to the season I expected Carolina to be around ten wins, depending on their ability to remain healthy. Through five weeks, they’re currently one game better than projected overall while playing without three captains in tight end Greg Olsen, Kalil and veteran safety Kurt Coleman.

A home loss against the New Orleans Saints was a tough start to divisional play but the fact Carolina should improve when their key starters return is a refreshing thought for Panthers fans. A realistic expectation is a playoff berth regardless of who wins the NFC South, likely to be decided in the two key games with the Atlanta Falcons.
