Cornerback Ronald Darby‘s target date was supposed to be sometime around the game where the Eagles played the same team he got injured against, the Redskins. Week seven is almost upon us. Darby’s apparently running around, but with the emergence of Jalen Mills, Rasul Douglas and Patrick Robinson, the Eagles aren’t exactly rushing him to get back on the field.

Apparently, the same can be said for Lane Johnson and Jaylen Watkins. Young players are emerging, and Philly can truly rest some of their most important cogs until they’re completely ready to be reinserted into this Eagles machine.
