ITI: Who are the guys on offense and defense that may not get the national attention but may prove to be difference makers?

Niner Noise: I’ve really liked what I’ve seen out of safety Jaquiski Tartt this season, especially after taking over for Eric Reid, who has a knee injury in Week 2. Tartt likely makes Reid expendable after this season or, possibly, a trade commodity. One of the matchups I’m excited to watch this Sunday is how well Tartt deals with tight end Zach Ertz. That should be fun.

The Eagles pass rush is pretty dangerous, but 49ers right tackle Trent Brown has been a surprising find in pass protection. Heck, even Von Miller tabbed him as the best right tackle in the NFL right now.

I don’t know if I’d go that far, but Brown has been solid enough in pass protection. I’d be curious to see how he handles the Eagles’ Chris Long off the edge in nickel formations this Sunday. With rookie quarterback C.J. Beathard taking five sacks last week, it’s pretty easy to see why this is important for the 49ers.
