The Philadelphia Eagles have some pretty cool fans. One stopped by to visit as the team continues to prepare for the Rams in Los Angeles.

Here’s something every fan of the Philadelphia Eagles should be happy to hear. Your team is pretty fired up. They don’t seem to have lost heart following a Sunday night beat down at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. They’re refocused. They had a great week of practice, and on Friday, they got a motivational speech from one of their most famous fans, five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant.

Yes, it appears that greatness still recognizes greatness. For several of the Eagles players it was a chance to share Twitter and Instagram posts. You see, Kobe’s not just a fan of the Eagles, many of the Eagles fans acknowledge the fact that getting a shot to hear about winning from a proven winner is always a welcomed opportunity.

After all, this is the “Black Mamba” you guys.

Here’s what Jalen Mills, better known as the “Green Goblin” had to say.

Let’s move on to Sunday.

It was the ‘little things’ that ultimately led to an Eagles loss in Week 13. Passes sailed too long or didn’t sail long enough. Second-year quarterbacks traveled across the goal line but forgot to take the football with them.

Bryant, who grew up in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, has done his part. He’s inspired a team that has inspired him so many times. Now, it’s up to them to take it the rest of the way.

Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery said “He gave us some championship knowledge.” Team running back LeGarrette Blount put it this way. “Anything he says, any words of wisdom he throws out there, you want to take it and put it in your back pocket.”

It’s the words of the “Black Mamba” that stand out though. There may not be anyone who enjoyed the moment more than he did.

Take a look.

"I think the character of this team is special and that’s what wins championships, the character of the team, the spirit of the team. You have certain moments where you go up and down but when the spirit of the team is a strong one, a collective one, then you have something that is truly special. Fingers crossed, they look to have this."

Let’s all hope that he’s right.
